Elizabeth Thompson graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. While at Duke she served as an assistant editor, associate editor and copy editor for the University's daily newspaper, The Chronicle.

Her extensive editing experience includes creating and editing content for everything from Web sites, to advertising materials, to conference materials, to brochures, to fashion show scripts, to novels, to scripts for dramatic productions, and nonfiction books.

Elizabeth is the author/co-author of two nonfiction books, Glory Days (DPI, 1999), and The Wonder Years (DPI, 2001, with Sam and Geri Laing). Glory Days, which she wrote while still a student at Duke, is a spiritual survival guide for high-school girls. The Wonder Years helps parents to see life through the eyes of their teenagers. To purchase these books, visit the DPI website by clicking here: www.dpibooks.org.

Elizabeth currently devotes herself full-time to editing, writing (particularly novels for teens and tweens), and raising her young child and her Labrador retriever (who thinks he is a child).
